By using our services, including in-store, pickup & delivery, phone, or online orders, you agree to the following terms:

Customer Responsibility – Pockets & Contents

Customers are responsible for checking and emptying all pockets prior to service.

Sampan Laundry & Dry Cleaning is not liable for loss of items left in garments, or for damage caused by foreign objects left inside garments, including but not limited to pens, markers, lip balm, gum, coins, electronics, tissues, or other pocket contents.

Pocket checks performed by our staff are a courtesy only and are not guaranteed.

Ink Transfer & Color Bleeding

Ink transfer, dye transfer, and color bleeding may occur if foreign objects or unstable dyes are present during washing.

We are not responsible for damage resulting from:

Stains

We use industry-standard methods and professional care practices.

However:

Sorting Policy

For Wash & Fold services, garments are separated into basic light and dark categories only.

Additional sorting (by fabric type, delicate level, or specialty handling) must be requested in advance and may incur additional charges.

Pre-Existing Conditions & Garment Risk

We are not responsible for:

Customers are encouraged to inform us of any delicate, high-value, or specialty items prior to processing.

Claims & Reporting

All claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion or delivery.

Allegedly damaged items must be returned for inspection before any assessment can be made.

Failure to report within 24 hours may result in denial of claim.

Limitation of Liability

Our maximum liability for any garment is limited to the processing charge for that garment.

We are not responsible for consequential or incidental damages.

Compensation, if approved, will be based on fair market value, not replacement value.

Pickup & Delivery Orders

By scheduling pickup & delivery, customers acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Customers are responsible for ensuring garments are ready for processing and free of personal items.

Storage & Unclaimed Items

Completed orders must be collected within 7 days of notification.

Unclaimed items beyond this period may be donated or discarded, and we are not responsible for them.
